Lori Welbourne - - - Guilty by omission!

I
Well everyone remembers Lori she's the Canadian reporter that lost her writing position after she published a poorly researched article including references and statistics from dogsbite a an organization not supported by mainstream animal organizations.

These days she fills her time on Facebook I think this post in Jeff's "the pit bull propaganda machine revealed" is a good indication of why she lost her job.....

FLORIDA
Raymond Johnson doesn’t know how the slabs of his new $3000 fence came loose creating a hole for his pit bulls to escape through, but they did and charged at a neighbouring toddler. Instead of attacking the child they attacked Brittany Allen’s pug who jumped in.
"I saw what they did to the dog. Imagine what they would have done with a child because a child is just as helpless.” So far, the pit bulls remain with the owner who failed to contain them.
"It's not fair that we have to wait until a child actually gets hurt, bitten or an animal actually dies for Animal Control to do something.” The pug survived and no one else was injured. Charges have not been filed and no fines have been written.

A dog dispute got out of hand in a Central Florida neighborhood. A neighbor's dogs ran toward a toddler and that's when another dog jumped in.

Olivia Wyatt That little pug will go to heaven and continue a blessed relationship with his owners.
James Duncan Fines haven't been issued (yet), but demands for vet bill payment need to be made. Talk about a "$3000 fence", most of it looks old and tacked together with small nails. I could bust those slats out easy by pushing on them with my palms. Also back to the "history of aggression" idea, everybody should know that pit bulls are often like a time bomb, being perfect pets until suddenly they become full out vicious. It's in their genes. Glad these stories are now regularly covered in the mass media.

Lacy Marsh Me and I. Why do dumb people choose pitbulls. That makes the problem worse.

Just check out the paragraph that Lori left out of her post in the pit bull hate group.

"Brittany Allen said two pit bulls escaped from their gate and went after her and her neighbor's children. But not before Pug, her neighbor's Boston terrier, got in the middle of it. Pug was scratched and wounded before the dog fight was broken up by the owners."

The comments and response to Lori's post indicate they either didn't go to the story itself and took her word for it or they're extremely bias against pit bulls.

It's seems a bit strange because if you read the story apparently according to the mother two "pit bulls" got out of their yard and attempted to attack a her and her children luckily a "Boston Terrier" intervened fought off the pit bulls and was left with "scratches and wounds".

But according to the owner his dogs heard the "Boston terrier" and went to investigate at which time "Pug" the Boston Terrier upon approach latched on to his dogs face and wouldn't let go, he's repaired the fence and no charges have been filed.

I'm just glad to see WESH NEWS not buying into all the pit bull bashing and calling it what is was a dangerous dog attack.

more to come......
